On another Board people were mentioning they had received email invitations to test a new "click and view" system for P&P. I must be designed to generate more traffic & therefore ad revenue. Too much work, not enough fun!!!

I will miss this community, though. I have started Swagbucks, it is taking me a long time to rack up points. Maybe we can have a new Swagbucks thread???

I received a large shipment of books (10 books in total) by UPS yesterday from P&P. Wasnt charged any duty or taxes etc. UPS just rang the doorbell and left the box at the door. Also last week and the week before i received books and no taxes, no surcharges, nothing. Last year i redeemed for an iPod shuffel and didnt pay any duties, surcharges or taxes. Im in Quebec, so maybe its a provincial thingy, dont know.

Wow, I am back from vacation and there seem to be big changes in P&P, what with charging for shipping & changing the site? I have a little over 725,000 points and maybe it would be good to use them now. If you all stop coming here, I will miss you. This has been a fun forum, with such a wide cross-section of people and interests.

Thanks to all who posted words, and I'm going to catch up on those that haven't expired.

Vacation was great - Punderson State Park in northeastern Ohio. Beautiful lake and lots to do in the area.

OK, I'm down to under 200,000 points - an amount that won't hurt to lose if P&P changes a lot. Ordered 1 book, Holy Ghost Girl, and 2 CD's, Lee Ritenour, 6 String Theory, and the Okee Dokee brothers, family-friendly bluegrass. Not on special, but the ones that seemed worth it to me.
