Today-walk 1: 1 McCafe sticker and $1.20 in bottles and cans. Have 5 more cans in my bag for the walk home.

Wow !! Ciel ..your sure doing awesome with picking up bottles and cans ..double whammy..your cleaning your community plus getting some moola while doing it ..plus picking up coins too ..i could walk all day never stoop pick up not even cent haha never see money 💰 on ground lol 😝 unless im missing it or maybe my excuse is most places i go i drive ..only walking i do is on my street..way go !! @Newfiescreech -you'd be surprised how random places (cart carrels, some parking lots but usually near one side, curbs or inside lanes by curbs, driveways, ditches or road shoulders...)have coins. I just binned a dime and a nickel into the blue box-both were badly corroded from salt or something so I did not want to take them to the bank. My penny roll began in Oct. 2015 so I'm keen to get it filled this summer and bank it!

Well my walk home yesterday was more $ helpful: found a quarter in a college hallway, a dime in the gutter on the road and a $10 bill near No Frills (because I did not have enough change on me, I put the bill into my account when I got back to town so my small balance would extend that $10 more than enough to buy a McDonald's Italian Pesto burger and Shoppers 6pk of pop at weekend sale price).

I used my coins to buy 2 cups of the 40cent yogurt (strawberry fruit on bottom Beatrice brand-only ones I saw) on my walk home.

Today-70 cents in refundable containers.
