Greg Biffle dominated Duel 2 but it was his teammate Matt Kenseth who took the checkered. Dave Blaney, Joe Nemechek and Tony Raines took the final three spots in the Daytona 500

afternoon race fans,

was able to watch some of the pre-race activities while trying to get chores done. say lenny kravitz perform American Woman, Fly Away & 1 other song i don't know the title to, but it was good. saw the interview jeff gordon & danica patrick, went to grab the laundry out of the dryer & heard the national anthem going & was rushing around & then it started raining.:rant: rats! they had the jet dryers out, then it started raining again. now that i have everything done, the race has been delayed. :shrug: been watching all the "fillers" & interviews Fox has put in instead of the race. lots of seagulls "swimming" around the grass on the infield. the Farmer's insurance commercials have been hilarious with kasey kahne in them.

Yep, waiting patiently for the race to start. I swear if I see one more interview with either Trevor or Danica I am going to lose my mind. :lolsign:

Daytona postponed until MondayFor the first time in history, rain has forced NASCAR to postpone the Daytona 500 race at Daytona International Speedway to noon ET Monday. Television coverage will be on FOX. NASCAR.COM will provide lap-by-lap coverage with RaceView.

Well race fans, the 54th running of the Daytona 500 will air on Fox tonight at 7pm.

With storms forecast all afternoon, NASCAR will wave the green on the 54th Daytona 500 just after 7 p.m. ET. Fox will provide television coverage.

the Daytona 500 has officially started. no muss, no fuss, start the cars & away we go.

caution out on the 1st lap, 600'. jimmie, danica, kurt, trevor baynes & more.

Lap 3 -- David Ragan and Trevor Bayne were also swept up into the accident.
Lap 2 -- YELLOW FL&G NO. 1: Wow. Jimmie Johnson, Danica Patrck, Kurt Busch and others are involved in a crash going into Turn1. The wreck was triggered when Elliott Sadler shoved Johnson coming out of the trioval.
