Source: I joined a "olympics pool". Subscribers had to guess the number of olympic medals won by Canadians (gold, silver, bronze, and total). The winner was to get half of all money collected, with the other half going to support a local children's sports team. I won, woo hoo!

Value: $11.99
Source: Pharma Plus had a "buy one get one free" deal on these. Of course the second box did not ring in for free, and the young dude at the counter had to repeatedly yell for a price check while holding the box of condoms over my head and I almost fainted in utter mortification--but what the hell, free is free!

Source: Another one from BzzAgent (a word-of-mouth marketing company). The voucher also came with a few "Buy One Combo Get One Free" coupons, which I'll probably use in April.

Freebie: A "Jr. Salad" from Salad Creations
Value: $5.99
Source: I attended a Women's Post event, and one of the speakers was Brenda Bot, the president of Salad Creations. Vouchers were given to attendees. The salad was actually delicious--huge, with very fresh ingredients, and the restaurant is very tidy and welcoming. I still have two more vouchers to use (what can I say, they were just sitting there on a table, and nobody was looking!)

Freebie: A medium coffee from Timothy's
Value: $1.99
Source: They had a deal going on at Timothy's Coffee, wherin if you buy a loaf slice, you get a free coffee. The loaf slice was slightly costlier than the coffee, but still...
Giveaway:
Freebie: A gift bag with various goodies: A tin of Nourish Tea (Jasmine Pearls), bamboo deodorizing shoe inserts, etc.
Source: I attended an event/seminar hosted by Women's Post magazing, and attendees were given goodie bags (not to mention, there was plenty of wine and food served (delicious wraps/sandwiches, cookies).
Value: Hard to say...the tea alone (which is delicious!) is selling for $13.99. I'll give it $20.00

Freebie: A free movie at Cineplex (used at Varsity theatre...saw Cooking with Stella--not bad!)
