what was you cousin doing as a career up there? I was there for a while a couple years ago, the community is only small, I probably knew her if it was the same time

Ooo from the replies it seems expensive. How much is the average price for 176 Huggies diapers normally? Sorry, I have NO clue about baby stuff...
I Love you; not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

My Uncle used to be an inuit art dealer and he lived in NWT for quite awhile. I remember my parents putting together HUGE boxes with things like toilet paper and detergent and shampoo and stuff like that. The shipping was atrocious, but still made it way cheaper than up there!

There was only 2... I had a 50/50 chance, but I can see that now that you say it.

Yeah, a bag of dog food was easily 100.00, Cheapest Laundry Soap, like Purex 29.99, (it goes on sale at shoppers for 2.99)

There is no liquor stores there either, we used to call Post Office, "our Liqour Store" that was if you were lucky enough to get a post office box, that is all they had and the waiting list was at least 6 months.

It was a wonderful experience thou, I loved every minute of it

Just wondering...Do the wages in Iqualuit NWT coincide with the prices they pay in stores?
