CCMP1974.... AWESOME, FANTASTIC, SELFLESS, GIVING, THOUGHTFUL AND LET'S NOT FORGET GENEROUS. I admire your hard work and honesty. It takes a lot of patience to put those baskets together. I saw the last pictures of your baskets and was VERY impressed then as I am now. I am trying to do 4 baskets for 2 teen girls and 2 teen boys to give to our local Toy Drive for X-Mas, as the teenagers are most often overlooked. I am on my way with a little stash (mostly for the girls) and I know most of it will be out of pocket. I DO NOT have a problem with that as we always give to the needy, even when it may not always be convenient for us to do so. Great Karma!!!!

    Wow Fantastic -

People on this site are really a great inspiration . Hope to make up a couple of baskets or boxes myself and give away to a local charity but look forward to next year when i'll be a more experienced coupon collector and more deal savvy and can do a lot more.

Thanks for sharing and showing us what can be done

You've done a fabulous job C, to find all those bargains, then get them that together to give away!

You've got that right! I'm not into the smellies at all, I don't buy the Glade/Febreeze type stuff (I don't even use fabric softener!).

Doesn't stop me from taking some of the coupons when I see them though! I've got quite a few BOGO Glade that I've been trading.

Great job!! I bet you had a ton of fun collecting up all those goodies. Baskets are great fund raisers-your good deeds will put smiles on lots of faces. Thumbs up.

ccmp1974, eriluo and many others have inspired me to make baskets for our new women's shelter in Timmins that is opening in January 2010.

    Thank you for sharing!

WTG!! It is so easy!! If I can do it anyone can.You can see how little it cost.I live in a rural area,2 hrs away from the closest city and 15 mins from the nearest town, and I still find great deals and we have no LD.It makes a person feel so good to pay it forward.

Yes Teenagers are very often looked over...I have often adopted a family or two with my Team at work during x'mas via CAS (Children's Aid Society)...we save $ during the year thru what I like to call FUN-raisers...and at the end of the year...we share the shopping experience so everyone can feel involved...my Team will often also put together a food basket with a GC to their local/closest grocery store also...it's a GREAT feeling to see how much a little from everyone can go a long way!
