Curious Why Can The Thumbs Up Be Taken Away?

I noticed my thumbs up went away in a trading thread I had I know it was there yesterday so I tryed a little experiment I went to two different threads if you have given thumbs up in that thread already you can take it away by clicking it. It didn't seem to happen to threads that I just gave a thumbs up to but it did to the ones I did yesterday and the number of thumbs up went down?????? I think in my opinon people shouldn't be allowed to take them back very weird or maybe a glitch?

I seem to be able to do that to all threads..Give a thumbs up and click on it to take it away. Its useful if you gave a thumbs up by accident?

what if you accidentally take it away not knowing you already gave a thumbs up?

well I had a thumbs up all day or last two days apx and now gone I think that hurts more then the thumbs down lol lol

I think thumbs up got shuffled around in the last few days while Boo was working on them..many thread had thumbs up and were later gone.

when its green it means you gave the thread a thumbs up
red = you didn't or took it away

Thanks Amber it is just frustrating when it is in the coupon trading thread I don't want someone to notice it was there and now gone and thinking this is due to a trade gone bad. I havn't even done a trade for the thing I listed so I don't know what happened.

I noticed this yesterday in the Tea Room, so thanks for bringing it up.
I posted a reply on a thread, then went to give it a thumbs-up - and I'm glad I was looking, because the count went from 1 to 0 - so I clicked it again and it went back to one.
I assumed it was because maybe I had already given it a thumbs up...
But this is not good to have happening....

Sorry some thumbs up disappeared because when I migrated to the new system the thumbs up did not get migrated.

Yes you can undo a thumbs up but you can't give thumbs down... I honestly don't think it's a huge problem... I can probably disallow undos but it will take a lot of programming effort and I'm too lazy
