I hardly participate in the regular bragging section because I don't buy the type of stuff that can be purchased with loads of coupons and MIR. Plus, people probably don't care about fashion purchases when they got 50 deodorants for free.
Here's a place to share your fashion brags! This thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by itsjustmebub; Thu, Jan 6th, 2011 at 03:13 PM.

I almost NEVER buy any clothing at full price because I never need anything that badly or urgently. I have tons of clothes already and am usually attracted to the same type of clothing (i.e. I end up buying similar things), so I am very patient. Most things in my closet are at least 50% off the regular retail price, which is greatly marked up by stores. I think I do pretty well in terms of price and quality.
Here is the price of my outfit yesterday:
Club Monaco wool dress pants -- $20
White tank top from ON -- $2
Grey cardigan from Urban Outfitters -- $15
Clark shoes from the Bay -- $50
Leather purse from Europe -- $25
Danier leather jacket -- $100
TOTAL: $112 for outfit, $212 with leather jacket. Regular price would easily be 2-3x that.Last edited by bug; Fri, Apr 30th, 2010 at 06:10 PM.

I went to H&M yesterday and was very pleased with what I got.
Sunglasses $6.95
Earrings ($6.95) FREE (bogo jewelry)
Necklaces $9.95
Tote $14.95
Top $5.90
Skirt $14.95
so, this outfit cost roughly $55 and I ordered some shoes online yesterday and they averaged out to $22 a pair (even with shipping!!!) so an entire outfit for under $80 and the only sale item were the free earrings.
The actual clothing part of the "outfit" was about $20.

Ahhh good idea! fashion brags! I didn't know there was a post for this!
I got new jeans at Garage for 15$ (skinny) and a button up shirt (my coworker asked how my grandkids were, pfft boys) 10$.
I mostly buy all my necklaces at clearance prices (10$ or under). I have a coworker who spends 30$ on necklaces and I just shudder. Ugh, no way.
I'm a sucker for boots though, and since I have the most common foot size, I typically have to buy them full price to get what I want, but luckily for me, Aldo and Spring take 10% off with the SPC card.
I'm upset that the Smart Set basic t-shirt keeps going up in price - best t-shirt ever. I do have a "bounce back" coupon for January, so I may stock up on them and get 25% off a total of 50$.

BAHAHAH!! The Smart Set shirts were my uniform like TEN years ago lol. But they were MUCH softer then and had a nice deep vee. I could always get them for 5$ on clearance.
Bub I am stealing the first and third dress from you while you sleep. GAH! They are the PERFECT A-line dress shape. 25$ combined?!!! GAH again!! lol
