Thanks! Do you want any sample from me in exchange?
Does anyone have the Lactantia Pur Filter milk coupons to spare? Screamy gave me 2 on our last meet and I was going to use them at the Metro sale today. They ran out of the 3.25% milk but gave me a rain-check for 6. I worked it out and it is cheaper than buying the 4L bag (at Metro, anyway!).
OMG, I have to learn to save $$$ on my dishwasher - we run the dishwasher TWICE A DAY!!!! I've been using the Cascade (with $1.50 coupons when they are on sale) but even on sale, I'm still looking at about $2.50 a pack of 15 tabs. :frown:
Unfortunately I can't use the powder anymore (it has to be the pucks!) - too many accidents with little hands (too many little hands too!!!) :yikes::yikes::yikes:
OMG! You're definitely paying too much for dishwasher tabs. Even before this awesome FINISH promo, there were better deals than what you're paying. RCSS sometimes has the 90 tablet tin of FINISH tabs for $7, using that $3.50 coupon that comes in the smartsource you'd end up paying $3.50 for 90 tablets.
I've got some of those Lactantia coupons for you.
Oh Our Dearest Queen of Coupons, I humbly bow down before you in awe....
S**T!!!! And here I thought I was being smart and saving money on my Cascade pucks. I used to buy them at Costco and finally worked out that it is cheaper to buy the 15-puck bags on sale plus coupons. And now you are telling me I can get 90 tablets for $3.50? Waaaa....waa.... waa....:bawling::bawling::bawling: We go through about 3-4 bags of that Cascade puck thing a MONTH. That's like $10 compared to $2, if I follow your advice! Waaa....waaa...waaa.... :bawling::bawling::bawling:
Okay, what does the coupon look like again? Maybe I should start keeping my eyes open for them. I don't get Smart Source (or any inserts, for that matter) and have not gathered the courage to grab them from McDonalds. I did ask the convenience store below my building once and got rejected.
ps. Don't give me too many of the Lactantia coupons. I know Mr. K's drink milk like water too but it actually worked out cheaper with the promo at Metro (and you get 20 airmiles plus you can send in the UPC for the $20 coupon promo!).
Do you think getting a cow is cheaper, now that my kids are going through a lot of milk? :(
Haha! You can have all of the Lactantia coupons, I refuse to pay more than $3.97 for milk, and even then I only buy it at SDM for that price so that I can also get points on it ;)
I've considered the cow option too, but I grew up on a farm, the memories of my parents boiling the milk on the stove, the cream crusting on top, thick and disgusting. The cow idea was therefore relatively shortlived.
:lolsign:
I got one of those Finish/electras smartsource coupons in my newspapers today, I will give it to you. Certainly sounds like you need to start working on creating your own stash. :)
Yeah tried that but at SDM the 3.25% milk NEVER went on sale. The sale is always the 2% and less. Seeing how scrawny my kids are, I'm sure the Dr. wants them to stay on 3.25% until they go to college!
The PurFilter was more because of me - I don't really like milk but I can tolerate the Natrel and Lactantia PurFilter. It just seems to be less "milky". Alas, those are the premium ones and they cost around $8.97 a 4L bag at my Metro (Sobey's about the same).
Oh I know exactly what you meant. My mom used to get us those 'fresh milk' - the one that had to be cooked/ boiled and it will have a layer of cream stuffs. Both my sisters love them but I hated it (I used to give them my milk when my mom's not looking!). I think that's why I don't really like the taste of milky milk, if that makes sense.
Oh no, just give me a photocopy and I'll ask my coupon fairies if they have them. I just want to see what they look like. Thank you for the milk coupons though. I want to stock up a bit during the promo and hopefully I remember to send in the UPC.
Trips- I have a few WUB 2*2Lsave 1.50 and I can give it you.
And start buying it at FB, where it's routinely $5.97 instead!!!
I was shocked when I went to Sobeys and seen Lactantia for $8 something, I was looking thinking they mixed up the labels with the organic / growth / lactose free or something but no. Definitely go to food basics for it
No it's not. It's gone up to $6+ now (Natrel/ Lactantia). And I can't hightail it early enough before they close at 9pm (Sherbourne & Wellesley). And when they had it on sale for $4.97, it was NEVER available!!!! Sold Out....out....out !!!!
Welcome to my world - living in an area surrounded by consumer-gouging, overpriced-charging supermarkets. ALL THREE OF THEM!!! Such is the irony - I have 4 supermarkets within 5 mins walk from my place and I drive 15mins to another supermarket. Go figure!!!
The organic stuff is $10+ a bag!
Oooh, honey, I'm going to have to start picking it up for you when I go, I never pay that much. I have, however, switched to the Gerrard Square FB, and I buy 1% or 2%, maybe the 3.25% is more. I've never seen it over $6 at FB.
If you have a freezer, stock up - it keeps for several months, you just need to give it a good shake before you use it.
OK I am out in the burbs, but I bought milk today and it was $5.19 for 2% Lactantia - organic was $8.47
