I don't actually go up to street level - we have a tunnel from the subway - so not sure if I can be stopped? I would imagine security in the tunnel would be insane though, but I know all of our security guards
I can't wait to see them (on TV from the safety of home) tell protesters sorry we are not giving you entrance

I heard they were tossing around the idea of asking the protestors to move to some park that's not RIGHT at the MTCC.
Like many blocks away or something.
Wonder how that conversation went.
Er, excuse me Mr. Protestor, would you mind moving your friends up the street to that park where no one can hear you protest? Please? Or, umm, I don't know… Alaska?
Mr. Protestor: Eff-U Mr. Security Guard.
They are protestors, protesting the G20, what's the point of protesting if you aren't at the site where the meeting you're protesting is taking place.

Its not PATH, its a private tunnel with security but that must be the only thing PATH has closed for!

Hmmm...you guys are special! Your own private underground tunnel!
Yeah, I was surprised they'd close the PATH too.
However, knowing the threats they normally get with this sort of thing - which have no doubt increased since the economy got supremely weird - I can't say I'm surprised by any of the stuff they're doing.
Although it does seem a little much to be thinking about removing bike stands. I guess they think people might chain themselves to them...
And it turns out I may not be going to BC after all.

Well you wouldn't want us to walk out in the snow would you? PATH doesn't go that far up
There are plenty more things people can chain themselves to including streetlights, I can't see them taking those down lol
They are just making it harder for regular people to avoid the protesters and security zones with all their security measures

Technically it should be open during the work day though, depending on exactly where you are going.
Portions of the PATH system will be closed from Friday evening to Sunday and will reopen on Monday. Members of the public will not be able to exit the PATH into the security perimeter nor will they be able to enter the PATH system from within the perimeter.Join Swagbucks for free GCs & prizes, just by searching: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Chicka
