I hate printable coupons.
The local stores around here will not accept them, no matter what companies say. Even the big chains like the Superstore and Walmart won't accept them in my neck of the woods. The Save.ca they will, but not ones that I have to print out myself.
Sometimes I will email the company and sometimes they will snailmail me an acceptable coupon. But sometimes they tell me that the big chains will accept them.
What do people who go to a cafe or the library do? The local library system here charges at least a buck a page, so even if the stores did accept them, it may not even be worth it.When I let go of any expectations of how a situation will turn out, I get to keep my serenity, and the situation turns out as it should.

No problems using them at A&P. The cashiers sometimes ask how to find the coupons for themselves.

I dont have a problem but this is a big city maybe in a smaller place it would be harder to use them.

Be a little kinder than necessary, remember everyone is fighting their own battles.

In Regina we have a lot of problems with printable coupons at any store, be it safeway, superstore, etc. Amd yet here in BC I have not had a problem.... it seems very frustrating and inconsistent.

I haven't had a problem getting printable coupons accepted but that's probably because the only one's I'm able to print out seem to be "special" ones from places like Orange Julius and Dairy Queen.
It's frustrating to see a great coupon online and then their program doesn't co-operate with my printer.
That's why I get so excited when I get my Homebasics mag. etc in the mail!
About the $1.00/page pwwbear - you're right, unless you have you're own printer it sounds like it wouldn't be worth it unless you get a great coupon or a whole page of coupons.

I havent had any troubles, and I shop in a town with 8000 people, so relatively small.
Is your printer not good quality is it leaving lines when it prints? What about buying a thicker paper?
Im not sure never had a problem.

I live near a small city and never had any problem with printable coupons, as long as they are fairly clear. Maybe you have an old printer?

i alway had a hard time using internet coupons. some retailers said they don't take photocopy and internet copy. some said they don't take photocopy but internet copy. how can they tell the coupons are internet copy or photocopy? nowaday u can photocopy from a printer - that is, internet copy looks the same as photocopy. stupid rules.

Save-on-Foods told me NO! They had a memo from head office saying not to accept printer coupons. Had the $1 off General Foods ones for all their cereals and granola bars...

i have never had a coupon not accepted. Maybe because where i live there are too many competitive stores around, and i could easily take my business elsewhere!!
