if it's on AC, you have to go west..... the SYD nonstop leaves from YVR.
flights could be cheaper via the US on United, though that involves dealing with the chore that is US customsLast edited by travelgeek; Mon, Nov 2nd, 2009 at 11:54 PM.

We worked with an Ozzie and he flew out of LAX to go home to Oz, he said it was a lot cheaper then flying from Canada. He was a trucker and would get ride south with another company driver. I don't know if it would be as cheap for you if you have to pay for the flight from here to LA.

I tried it again. Sparks--fire--me in awe--microwave spluttering and dying.
All the lights and appliances downstairs are gone off.
Why didn’t anyone stop me?
How do I get the power back? I need my coffee in the morning!

Land sakes alive! You sound like a female version of "Dennis the Menace", Hurricane Hannah, Lucy and the Three Stooges all rolled into one! In fact I'm imagining Tourettes Guy
and HIS microwave...

... when I think of you and your microwave. (^^^warning:vulgar language)
How do you get the power back? Buy a new house. You need your coffee in the morning? Order in. Get Tourettes Guy to deliver it. He could probably fix your microwave, too... or at least give you some entertainment. Get that helmet... BOB SAGET!!!

Good morning canada.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Well the lights are finally on. My dad tells me on the phone it has to do with something or the other. Bf tells me just to bring the coffee marker upstairs.Wanna help me push the fridge upstairs too! Boys are never helpful. My neighbour came in and fixed the mess..some switchboard in the basement. That place is eerie and I refuse to descend down there.
Unless there is another microwave hiding.
Now I am out of two microwaves. All this started from me being bored and watching the laundry spin.
This goes on top on my list of midnight adventures.I didn’t even have to leave the house for this one.

Yes, but at least we get a sunset. I remember the first time I went to Cancun. We were in the jacuzzi & thought, good it`s only 4:45, we don`t have to get back up to our room for another half hour to get ready for dinner, we`ll just relax & wait for the sunset. 4:59 we`re enjoying the sun, waiting for it to set. 5:01 it`s pitch black & we`re wondering whether there was an eclipse...or we`d had 1 too many.
