Never have i ever price matched before. I'm having a baby in 2 weeks & stocking up on formula. I have 2 Similac Cheques. One is $10 & the other is $7.
Superstore has Similac on for $20.99 starting on friday, & walmart has them on for $22.99 also starting friday. I'm going to walmart to get some diapers, so I kind of wanted to get both at the same time.

Does Walmart PM RCSS? How does the process work? Will they just match it, or will they also give an extra discount? Do I PM at the till, or do I have to go to customer service?
I'm so confused! Please help! Thanks!

At our local Walmart, they can just price match at the till - you just need to have the valid competitor's flyer on hand (they will price match to any local store). Sadly, no extra discount!!

our local walmart will price match at the till unless it's electronics then they will often want to call the other store to check it's the exact product (bar code) and if it's in stock.. also they have to be in the same town (not a 20 min drive)

You PM your stuff at the register as you are paying for it--but make sure that you have the competitor flyer with you because the cashier will ask to see it.

The one thing I am not clear on is the rule around price matching--that is, most stores say they'll match major competitors, but what qualifies as a competitor? Is there a certain distance beyond which they no longer consider a store to be their competitor? If so, what is that distance? 2 km? 5 km? 20km?

There's only 2 RCSS's in London and I'm not sure which end of town you're in; (I can only speak to the west end one) however, I expect the Hyde Park WM would not PM to the Oakridge RCSS just because there's a fair amount of distance between the two stores and I don't think the Oakridge RCSS could be considered "competition." You could ask though.

Hyde Park WM will PM to the No Frills at Fanshawe & Wonderland Rd. because they are very close and I've had no issues PM-ing that combination in the past.

I don't know the east end of the city to speak intelligibly enough about it at all. I don't think I could even find the RCSS there, let alone know if there's a WM nearby either. LOL.

You might want to try calling the WM you're planning to go to first to find out if they would PM the RCSS.

You might also want to try posting your question in the regional forum as well on this site (London has one!). They are a super helpful bunch there and perhaps some of them will have the answer you're looking for.

    Good luck!
