How do you give a trade rating? Oh I feel bad, I was a passenger on a train three or four weeks ago and I didn't rate it! I guess better late then never?

Is it pretty standard to get a rating after the train has returned to the conductor or as it moves from passenger to passenger?
Wish there was a FAQ for this...I've been going through old posts trying to figure it all out, but still have a few questions. I've noticed that some conductors instruct to leave a rating for the person who sent it to you...is this done instead of the conductor leaving a rating or both? Also, what about someone you just sends you something and wants nothing in return? What do you classify that as...just a trade? I've got more, but if anyone can answer those ones, I'd be grateful!

Simplifiedmommytips:
I would personally leave them a positive trade rating unless the coupons expired or will expire before they get a chance to use them. Canada post has been slow at times lately and it is to be expected with the upcoming months. I would only leave a negative if the coupons weren't received at all.
Edit to add:
Also, those 2 places are fairly close so I don't see what took so long, did you ask the sender what the delay was? and on the envie there should be a postmarked date to see when it was processed.Last edited by nv_jenn; Tue, Nov 3rd, 2009 at 09:19 AM.

What should we do about a lost train?
I'm aware trains can get lost, but, when a train is lost to often to 1 person, supicions are bound to arise. And I feel conductors should be made aware of trains lost between passengers.
How do we go about it? Should we give a neutral rating?
