    I've had it!: I am officially done with TNS Interactive/Mysurvey.ca - any survey invitation from them will be immediately tossed into my trash bin!

    Why?

    Nearly 5 months ago, I received a survey invitation from them that promised a $10 Chapters gift card in return for completing a painfully long survey 1+ hour). Well, many, many, many moons have passed and I have not yet received the promised compensation (despite contacting them, they never returned an e-mail)...

    Ahhh...but it only got worse...

    A few weeks ago I completed a survey from them that required about 75 minutes of my time - something I figured was okay, because I was promised a 750 point reward (worth $7.50)...Well, lo and behold, today I checked my account and discovered I had been credited 10 points (the equivalent of 10 cents) for over an hour of what I consider "work."

    Another SC member has previously mentioned that the user agreement states that TNS reserves the right to change the points paid out at their discretion...but this is disgusting and ridiculous...

    I won't be e-mailing them because previous attempts at contacting them have proved futile...I've opted to throw in my cards and walk away. The lesson is that this company does not respect or place any value on the time/energy I expend. Keep in mind, marketing research firms like TNS are paid by companies to conduct research on their behalf ... and, incidents like these suggest we are helping to line their pockets whilst sparing their overhead costs.

    I know I could/should have posted this in the existing TNS/Mysurvey.ca thread, but I thought this warranted special mention, especially to make sure SCers proceed with caution when dealing with this company...

    sorry about all the problem you are having with them. I order a amazon gc from them four months ago and still nothing yet. I don't understanding why, unlike most company, they don't do e-gc.
    As a rule for myself I never do survey thats over 20min long.

    i've been their panel member since 2008 but have not received survey too often . I only earned 2600 points in total in 2 yrs. I cashed out 2 times for the 10.00 cheque and got them within 2 weeks ~ i honestly think it's real quick!!! But the 5.00 amazon gc that I ordered about 3 months ago still haven't received yet. well guess the mail maybe lost somewhere in the wave of internet...... !!!

    I never have had problems with them at all - and I guess I don't understand why some participants are having such trouble, and others not ...

    I also had nothing but trouble from them, they didn't pay out my son from last year and owe him like 30ish bucks in gcs and me over 50 in gcs. Before 2010 they were good, now they are not. I have yet to be credited for the points they promised as well.
    We put in effort and time and I also answer these surveys as truthfully as I can, I even answered something wrong in a survey and emailed them about my error and they emailed me back right away thanking me. What a downfall with this company, I've heard this happening with lots of people this yr so far. Not too happy at all.

    hmmn see I stopped answering surveys for them when I wasn't getting what I was promised. Years ago they were really good for answering emails, getting cheques out etc and now there just too big and not managed properly.

    I learnt about them when I did a small internet survey and a week later received a notice that I won 1k from them! It took around a week to get that cheque.

    I think theyre system is shot and they have no nidea who has done what. I dont think they purosely screw people, I think they are just inept

    I have 4 surveys from mid May to mid June that I've never been paid the points for yet. One for $6.00, One for $4.00 & two smaller ones. Sent them many emails & have never received a response. Guess it's time to send a report to the Survey Police about them & STOP taking any surveys they send me. Maybe we should start a boycott? Without people doing surveys for them....FOR FREE......they will lose business!!!

    I answered their poll on their website saying I was unsatisfied with their services and they had 77% satisfaction rate when the poll went through. I find that extremely difficult to believe.

    I called TNS and I was pissed. I told the woman that I dont want to be connected to another voicemail and I told her no one is contacting me back. I also told her if my issues weren't resolved that I would forward my complaint to someone in charge of survey companies (aka survey police)and I have proof of all my transactions I have done. I recommend anyone with something owed to contact them by phone and be very firm. I was still connected to someone's voicemail and I told that woman the exact same thing. I also told her that I expect a return call immediately about this issue before I lose my patience. Here is the # for TNS 1-800-268-7115

    I STILL haven't recieved 3 chapters giftcards from feb and march. I've sent countless emails and phonecalls, forget it. I got nowhere.

    EDIT: finally got a phonecall back from TNS. Laura is looking into what's going on.

    TNS FINALLY CALLED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said her name was Laura and she said she will find out whats going on because everybody who ordered before may should have been paid out. She said they are backlogged but not that bad and obviously she said that something is wrong with their system. She said she will have it all sorted out by tomorrow for me. YAAAAAAAAAAY

    i hear you!! They do this to me ALL the time. But i am kind of happy cuz somehow they FINALLY credited a 500 point survey i did. They just wont let me cash out now.

    Don't know if it is luck of the draw but if this helps i did survey" 07/14/2010: Study: K4191" ad was credited 500 points. I hope that they can get it togethor soon.
