This week in the Zellers grocery pullout High Liner frozen battered fish (500-700g) $2.99. Really good price (reg $6.49). There were .75 cpns right next to them as well.

SDM (St.Albert south location only) has butter for 1.99 NO LIMIT!!! I haven't seen butter this price since the 90's. I spoke to the gentleman at the checkout and he said that it's a customer appreciation special they are running until Nov 19 or until supplies last. I made a small dent in they're supply that I'm freezing for X-Mas baking . It might be worth making the trip for some of you .
The South location is on the corner of St.Albert trail and Gervais rd.

My Mom freezes it all the time. I froze one about 6 months ago and just used it recently (I forgot it was in there!). It was fine.

Shoppers Drug Mart Pilot Sound (weird name, but it's basically Hollick Kenyon 50st 167ave)
Covergirl Volume Exact Mascara in Very Black (not waterproof) is on clearance for $2. It's not on the clearance rack but instead in the Covergirl section. I bought 2. There are 4 or 5 left. Regular price $9.99.
Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers are on clearance for $6.99. Not too bad if you have a $2+ coupon. Again, not in the clearance section but in the diaper isle.Coupons = Little pieces of paper you get FREE from the stores, from reps and from companies (ie: Not gold)

I made some strawberry freezer jam yesterday, using Bernardine Pectin (done in 30 mins!!) and threw in a few blackberries for interesting colour. Turned out great and the first jar of 4 jars is almost gone! I think I will be stocking up on some strawberries from SOF this weekend - mmmm JAMMMMM!!!!
