Oh the gf banana mix from there is great! Also my fav brownie mix comes from there! I add a glug of molasses to it helps make it chewy!

Tonight I made bread with the almond flour...AMAZING! It taste soo good. I was so happy I could actually eat a piece of bread without toasting it! lol
I will post pics of how it looks tmrw....and it was sooo easy to make!

They have Bob's mill almond four here At Garden Basket for $12.99--is that good?? How much did you pay for yours?

Every cook book I have read has said Bobs is the WORST to use! So I bought JK Gourmet it was 12.99 for 1.6 pnds which is like 3 loafs of bread. I am buying 10 pounds of almond flour from them for 90 bucks next month.

Abby The Big carrot in Danforth sells the JK Gourmet almond flour!

baked my own GF bread today.., but it was from a mix. it was good warm, reminded me of yorkshire pudding and I dipped it in gracy mmmm. I also made it into buns rather then bread and they are heart shaped lol

Never tried making tortilas...prob never will it scares me haha they seem so hard!

Its my bfs bday this weekend and were heading up to see my parents for the long weekend. My mom went to DQ to order a ice cream cake since I know there ice cream (Vanilla, Choc) is gluten free. She was so impressed with the service! The girl that makes the cakes pulled out the ingredients list and they reviewed everything that went on the cake...so the cake is gonna be almost the exact same just no cookie crumble in the middle instead they will use skor chocolate, and no frosting/icing for decoration instead she will use fudge to decorate. She said she will make it herself and will watch to make sure that all utensils, machines are washed before she uses them as not to contaminate and she said that DQ actually gets many gluten free requests! YAY I am so excited for DQ cake!! LOL

I went to the states this past weekend--ate at La Nova pizzeria, -good pizza!
Olive Garden-they have a whole GF menu-just ask!-I had Gf penne and their salad --minus the croutons
Had salad and fries and Godiva cheese cake at the cheese cake factory
TGIFs only salad

But I thought that was great--especially OG
