Mine is boring, but here it is:

    3 x Scott 2pk Paper Towels @ $2.99 - 3x $1 coupon = $5.97 & 10x points
    2 x Life Brand Juice Boxes @ $2 = $4 & 10x points
    4 x Puritan Stew @ $1.25 = $5
    1 x Snack Pack 12pk @ $2.99 - $0.50 coupon = $2.49
    3 x Dempsters Bread @ $1.99 = $5.97
    5 x Chef Boyardee Cans @ $0.99 - $0.50 coupon - BOGO - FPC = $2.47

= $25.90 plus I will get eggs and milk for a total over $30
Coupons = Little pieces of paper you get FREE from the stores, from reps and from companies (ie: Not gold)

K - I've been going through my list and adding and trying to figure out the total BP's with 1,500 on $15+ on Duracell's; 10x bp on several items, etc - my head hurts now! LOL

Wondering... it's 8,000 pts if we sign up on our own, no referrals. How many points will we get by taking part in the SC groups? Is this info posted anywhere.

Last time it was 5,000 pts on our own, and something like 9,050 with the group. ETA: it was 9545 points with the SC group, an extra 4545 points.

    Thanks!

If everyone shops in your group then you'll get an additional 7272 (that's 80,000 / 11)

So a total of 15,272 for your own shopping and the group.

Ok, thanks gourmetsue. I think they do give a bit extra to the group leaders, so that amount might be a little less. I will make a list and see if I can find $30 worth of stuff to buy!

Correction: it was 4545 extra points for a total of 9545 points. (will make the correction in the original post).

This is the first time I've quoted myself! lol

    Here's my shopping list

    4x Scott 2pk paper towels @ $2.99, less 4x$1 coupon = $7.96 (10x points)
    2x Dove 750mL shampoo/conditioner @ $7.99, less 2x$1.50 coupons = $12.98 (10x points)
    1x Colgate sensitive @ $3.99, less $1.50 coupon = $2.49
And I have some more shopping to finish up for a package train, so I'll spend the rest of it on some goodies for my train buddy.

Looking forward to this event. I've been obsessively checking my email all day, lol.

Please don't just post you want to join there, instead follow the instructions in the second post. Thanks. Group setup will begin tonight, but instructions won't be sent out to group members until tomorrow.

Thanks, cesme77, for holding this down!

    You and Me,

follow these directions to email Cyanne and get into a group. Hope it helps

Please email [email protected] with the subject: "You & Me wants to join a SDM group" from an email address that you check regularly with the following information:

    1. What is the name of the person whose card you plan to register?
    2. What is your name in the SmartCanucks forums? This is very very important. This is how we will identify you on the board.
    3. Can you log in to your account on the Optimum site?
    4. Are you available to shop one day between August 9-13? Note that this is a MONDAY to FRIDAY
    5. Have you already signed up for this event? (note if the answer is yes, then don't bother sending me an email because you cannot join again )
    6. What are the last 9 digits of your Optimum number? (no spaces, please--so that your group points can be distributed to you)
    7. Are you interested in being a group leader? (we won't choose you if this is your first time participating, or if you're a newbie)

I'm liking the shopping lists posted so far, very practical items.
