I'm new here form Alberta, and a student that is always looking for great deals to saver money.
I've been lounging around this website for a while now and finally decide to register, hope to contribute in any way possible.

Hi Everyone!!

I'm from Edmonton and I signed up for SC a little while ago but have yet to be a poster. I've just been a lurker. I've decided I'd better get into the swing of things if I am going to save the big bucks
I'm 25, married and had my first baby in September. Since then I've really tried to save a lot of money and coupons are helping tons!

I have some connections to coupons. My Mom and friend both are reps for smart source/News Marketing Canada and get hundreds of coupons monthly. I often read how excited the members here get when they acquire new coupons and I think it's so great!! Every 4 weeks I have access to all of the coupons going into western (and sometimes eastern) Canada's Safeways, Save on, Zellers, Shoppers, Rexall and more. I am hoping to trade them to help myself and others out in their quest to save.

Sadly, boxes and boxes of coupons that never make it into the stores get thrown out every month. My Mom will get say 50 pads of a coupon when the store only requires 7 - the rest end up in recycle. So I figure why not end up here where people can use them??

My dear, if you've just had your 1st baby then you will quickly find out that you will be spending alot of cash on the baby and baby coupons will help you out in that area.

I just found the forum today. =) I'm a stay at home mom of two boys. Ages four and almost three. I've been a bit of a coupon freak since the birth of my oldest. I always felt it was my job to save money if I wasn't able to work.

I had to edit and say that I think it's awesome that it is a site dedicated to Canadians. I get so tired of filling out the surveys and freebies, just be met with the terrible drop down choices that only contain States. Where is the AB? lol
