Fresh Co.????

They just shut down my local Price Chopper and are converting into a Fresh Co. I have never heard of it and don't even see it listed on the Canadian Flyers list on the left here. Has anyone been to one of them, and are they any good???

The bought the front page of our Brantford Expositor today to advertise they are opening tomorrow morning at 8:00 am but no mention of any big deals or anything, unless you call the coupon for "Spend $25 and get a free shopping bag!" a big deal! I don't! *LOL*

I am hopeful they will be good, as they are right down the street from me. I loved Price Chopper and I hope this store is about the same as they were!

We've had a few convert in the GTA and I think they are pretty good. Unfortunately I do not have one really close but I have ventured out twice. This week for example whole beef tenderloin vacuum sealed $5.99/lb

I had to come back to Brantford today cause I forgot something! Not here for long! I have not looked in the paper today so I will have to look now for the flyer! I just saw the front page and inside the front page!

They started renovating over a month ago and I hate it already! Everything is moved around and I just got used to PC layout!! *LOL*

They closed last Sunday night to finish up the reno. I seen yesterday all the new carts were there and that. No big signs were up yet but I imagine they will be today if they are not up already!

Hope they are good, and I hope they are done moving stuff so I can start doing the Molson Indy around there again!!! *LOL*

Back to Dover I go, won't see that store until next week! Have a good weekend!

our in Mississauga is NOT as good as Price Chopper...the layout of the store sucks too...it feels like you are being herded like cattle...when you come in...you have to go a certain way and it's always crowded...I don't find their prices or deals all that great!

Its been around for a few months.
I like the Fresh Co. by our house but I agree about the way its laid out weird!
There still is a Price Chopper in Mississauga for those that live there...its on Hurontario if I am not mistaken must double check.

There's also another Price Chopper on Mavis I believe, I think there are still a couple left actually.

Well there is still one PC in Brantford. They converted the wrong one! I hate the other one but if I must go there I will!

It does say guaranteed low prices so maybe they will PM? Now that would make it rock!

Typical Sobey's move. They renovated our Sobey's once then shut it something like 9 months later!

Guess I will have to wait and see how it is!

My price chopper is being converted to (welland) actually not sure when it opens. i am really dissapointed because i never see the flyer posted early on smart canucks like all the others i like to plan ahead. On the plus side, i stocke dup on milk & yogurt when the one by here was closing,lol.

When they were renovating you could still shop in the store and it WAS totally weird. The freezer section was like in the front and in the middle of the store...like wouldn't you want to get all your cold stuff last??

When i heard about it, i checked a flyer online and they didn't look too badly priced but we'll see.

My old Price Chopper had the freezers in weird places but when they were renovating they seemed to be putting them all at the back, but that could have just been until they closed for a few days to finish up

There was only a few stores in ontario until this week, I am sure once more open someone will have a flyer to post early
