I'm with you ilovemykids-we seem to see a lot less but there are a few that still pop no run up...thank god the hubby doesn't mind getting them.
I hate spiders too but I don't want either in the house.

Most insects have good years and bad years. In the good years you see more than you would in the bad years. I don't know why this is but it is. This by far is my favorite place to research bugs on the net: http://www.whatsthatbug.com/
He is usually overwhelmed but might have time to email you back about the type of bug you have, if you have no idea what it is or how it got there.
***WARNING*** YOU WILL GET THE HEEBEE GEEBEE's from this site. Look up pseudo scorpion spiders, they are harmless but oh so interesting.
I would welcome centipedes in my house any day so long as they kill the Brown Recluse, Wolf and the Hobo Spider.Nothing lasts forever
