Every page is a certain size, if there are more images per page the size is bigger, if its movies (downloading or streaming), radio streaming, MP3 downloads, etc you are looking at a lot of bandwidth but it also includes what you are sending (attachments in an email etc)

If you have a wireless modem, be careful that someone else isn't using your net and causing you to go over

What is your bandwidth cap, I use the net a lot, including for VOIP calls etc and I have only gone over mine once (and put it up to unlimited so I didn't have to worry)

There are free bandwidth monitors you can download that will show you how much you are using so you can track where you are using the most to adjust your usage
