That's serious dedication! But I can totally see how the absence of money would bring a sense of freedom. We spend a lot of our time thinking about it, how to make more of it, how to spend it, how to spend it when we get more of it lol. It never ends. Definitely an interesting article.

Interesting, but he still admits he does work for people and the city to get food. Now a life without working would be awesome.

I agree, I think of all the times I'd truly be happy is if I didn't have to slave away to the idea of money!
I don't think it would be that awesome, unless of course you mean working for others. I would get extremely restless and lose my sense of identity (productivity) if I wasn't working. Now working for myself (and I suppose in this guy's lifestyle would be farming for myself) would be great.
