If you're a Rogers customer a lot of these subscriptions are available for less
...i.e. Money Sense is $12/year for Rogers customers instead of $19.95/year with the Chapters GC promo. Check it out... www.rogers.com/magazines

I think their website is broken, I tried this- great idea by the way. Hopefully they'll fix it... I've been eyeing up a Macleans subscription for more than a year and I haven't got to it. Its $45 through aeroplan and you get points, but... hmm. 3 bucks a month is def-o a better deal.~~~~~~~~~~
I'm getting free gift cards for Amazon just doing my day to day internet searching!!
http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/forgiftcards and also for completing surveys at Opinion Outpost!!

I'm not a Rogers customer so these are great deals...also I can cancel anytime and still keep the promo gifts/GCs. I've done this so many times..I even emailed and called Rogers to ask if I can cancel and still keep the bonuses and they said YES!
Usually I order once in December to get whatever promo (sometimes it's a gift, last year was an indoor digital thermometre + clock). then around June/July, I cancel my subscriptions and wait for the RBC Visa rewards promo. I order 3 magazines and I get 1500 RBC points, which is worth about $12.50 in GCs. Then if I don't like the magazines, I cancel after a month or 2. I still get the keep the points and get a month or 2 of magazines but I only pay 1/12 of the yearly subscription costs.
Actually I just canceled my Reader Digest's subscription so I can subscribe to this promo. The reps are great @ Rogers Magazine and are very helpful if you want to compile all your subscriptions or cancel any. Just wait a month or 2 after you get the promos to cancel if that's what you're planning to do.
This time around I'm ordering lots of magazines because I've noticed that more and more are filling up with coupons!!
