I think my local WM is getting tired of me saving! LOL. Today I got two different SCOPs: a plush smurf for $2 and these little cabbage patch dolls that were supposed to be $6.97 but scanned for $10. CSM seemed to roll her eyes as I asked for the second SCOP, and she was the same one that did the over-ride the last time I exceeded the coupon limit!
I also price matched a huge case of Huggies down to $34.xx and used a $4 coupon. First time price matching!
Today was also my one day to get all of my Christmas shopping. As a new single mom with a special needs child getting a sitter is a rareity. I used four of my $10 game cash coupons and got one free game, one for $1.xx, mousetrap for $5, and pictureka for $8.
Lastly, and probably the deal that made me feel the best was when I did my first coupon fairy act. I was grabbing enfamil a+ (which I switched baby to so we can get the $10 Fisher Price) and a woman reached around me grabbing similac. I kinda go the impression she was a single mom too, so I piped up and offered her my $10 similac cheque. I quickly told her that if she signs up they will mail out free formula and cheques
. She seemed to appreciate the offer, and after a really tough couple of weeks it made me happy too! Maybe that Christmas spirit will show up afterall

I have saved over $1320 with coupons since Dec 30/10! (+ at least another 700 in sales!)

WtG! I try to find cashiers that are older and understand coupons...plus they seem more patient and don't get flustered if the line gets big (and so they do not screw up my coupons...yes this has happened!).
My DH always asks, "So, how much did you save this time?" I remember when he used to ask me how much I spent... LOL
