My favorite is skyauction.com. It's like the ebay of travel where you bid on travel package. We have used it several times and have gotten some great deals.

My fiance and I are looking to do the same thing over the holidays. Everything over xmas is still really pricey right now. Lots of stuff if you can leave the week of the 17th or Jan 1. Hopefully some deals will emerge as it gets even more last minute...hopefully

I always use pricebeat.ca
I have been using this for Cuba for the past 3 years. I book there for myself and for my family. I actually just booked for my inlaws for March. What I love best is they send you a gift card for $20 to $40 depending on what you spend, you can choose from Walmart, BestBuy, Montanas or ESSO.

our favorite that we used last year for an amazing trip is saveonresorts.com, it has all five star resorts at unbelievable low low prices, the only catch is you have to sit in on a presentation, it is painless, we went to the blue bay grand esmerelda all inclusive resort in playa de carman, mexico last year and it was amazing, it cost us 1200.00 for my hubby, myself and our 14 year old daughter, plus our airfare which we found on spirit airlines, the cheapest around if you can fly out of detroit, or an american city, we got flights for 69.00 each way,,,,,,,the presentation was a joke, we ate breakfast with the salesman, he asked us if there was anything we did not see on the resort yet, as we had already been there for four nights, and we had not seen the spa, so he took us for a tour there, and then back to the office for the sales pitch, he explained how it works, we did not look interested at all, so he asked us if we were planning on buying, we said no, and so did the other couple who travelled with us and that was it, no hard sales, they gave us 50.00 to spend at the spa and we were off to enjoy the rest of the day, it took, less than 75 minutes with breakfast, this company also lets you travel with another family with the same deal, most time share presentation companies will not let you do that,,,,,,,,i know a lot of these companies get a bad rap of being dishonest, but i can vouch for this one as we had an amazing vacation and a third of the price it would have cost us any where else. good luck and i hope you have a great vacation, i will be booking with them again in the next month.

My mom booked from selloffvacations.com twice, the closer to the date the cheaper the trips get, just make sure you look closely at the codes to ensure you are getting all inclusive (AI).

cruises aren't as expensive as they may seem. due to the recession, many have been discounted deeply. all your food is included..... the only extras is the airfare, gratuities ($10US/pp/day), excursions, transfers and booze. by finding a cheap fare out of buffalo to florida, I can usually keep the total cost to around $1000.
as a result of the economy, there are tons of deals out there.... I just booked a last minute ticket to Hawaii leaving next week.
