I was wondering which people thought was a better deal - getting gas with the bonus Canadian Tire coupons at the CT Gas Bar or using one at a Preisdent Choice store like Loblaws where you get 2 cents back per litre purchased?

I've been getting gas at the Loblaws Gas Bar - but have been wondering if CT might be a better deal How much CT money do you get anyways if you didn't have one of their bonus coupons in hand??

THanks for your input and advice!

Yes You get 2 cents per litre of gas and then use it in store. I'm actually not familiar with the Canadian Tire one and how it works - I've never been

Unfortunately, the closest Costco for me is in downtown Montreal - I waste more gas in traffic getting there than its worth for the savings

My son just recently switched from a station where he was getting two cents off a litre to now going for the Cdn Tire money - he said he had done the math and for him he was better off.

One thing, also, is to watch the quality of the gas. Yes, there are differences - depends upon the car as well. He has an old big clunker and the CT gas was fine for his car.
I know here, most people don't like the quality of the SuperStore/Extra (Loblaws) gas...
