we did last wenesday evening ,when on our way back home we listen to the rediffusion of Christianne Charrette on Radio Canada Radio ....that's IMO one on the top worst thing that can happens to someone....the name of the syndrom says it all, people locked in their body....it happens to fairly young people after an ACV that live them unable to move anything but their eyes...and they have everything else working....brain, emotions, feelings, sens, pain....etc....that must be orrible....

Yes, I had heard of it from a documentary on tv a while back. Very sad condition...

Yes, have you seen the movie The Diving Bell and the Butterfly? It's based on an autobiography written by a French man with locked in syndrom by blinking to an interpreter.. The book is supposed to be really good too!
