I got Tony Bennett doing the Ultimate American Songbook CD just a couple of weeks ago for 70000 points......a perfect present for my brother-in-law...not to shabby a prize...now I am up to 52,000 points again...thanks to all the eagle-eyed people on this board!!!

Actually, a few months ago the word "fastfood" was released and worth 300, so Prue is correct as she stated it was found in the first 50 pages she reviewed.

Points and Prizes however has a tendency to reuse words, so don't be surprised if a word pops up which looks familiar.

^ On that note, the word "fastfood" was released again recently in a newsletter worth 50 points and an expiry of January 20th, 2008 (yesterday). For those who haven't claimed the word, you may still have a chance as sometimes (not always) words are accepted past their expiry.

I find it really hard to believe that anyone can complain about having duplicate words. These are being found for you by the hard work of someone else. I write the words down and cross them off so I know if it's duplicates and I don't complain. Also people are typing these in at the same time as others and don't yet see the posting. New member or not no one has a right to put anyone down for posting a WORD twice. Be nice, that's how we treat each other on this board. Geez man this is nonsense. These are those little reasons I'm not on here as much, now that's annoying.
