oooh thanks. i tried it again, and it went thru. but ya, my dang manual don't tell me what to do. i need this.
and... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
COME ON GUYS..HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY..HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ANNNNIVERSSARY!
think i might try this..
where are you at? (quick guys pack your bags)
ugh..no koala and lolcat are both smart nurses. it's godawful being sick for an ext period of time and not knowing wtf is going on. (been there, doing that). i hope you find out. just keep buggin the damn dr's too. and maybe one of those two can pt you in the right direction.
absolutely can! i just never thought of it. peppers and onions you don' thave too cook ahead. avoid mushrooms and potatoes. they don't freeze well. everything else blanch first. DARNIT. that reminds me, mom gave me back her bag of carrots cause my bro brought some in (why mine? is his better than mine? wtf?) anyway, i know have 5 more lbs to peel, chop and blanch (2mins in boiling water for my diagonal slices, 3 mins for 2 inch chunks for stews/boiled dinners).
i also have to make more of kekes bread. hubby took 1/2 loaf to work . evil man. also a small whole pumpkin can make an awful lot of pumpkin bread. have one in machine now, and tons of pumpkin left. i'm either gonna run out of eggs, or flour ...luckily neither of these recipes use milk.
[quote=Aphena;533043]Ok i got a joke. it's cute I wanted to share it...
omg, that would crack my hubby up. and his twisted sisters. but i'll wait b4 sending them jokes, i still haven't heard any more on the bro-inlaw

Goo d MOrning all.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloweem. We were very busy. The kids carved pumpkins at their friends house, it was funny to watch. First year that I let them do the carving by themselves. I colleted all the seeds and roasted them. First I soaked them over night in salt water, and then in the morning I sprayed then with pam and added more salt and put them in the over at 300 until they started to trun golden. The DD eat most of them before we went out for trick or treateng.
Speaking of going out, OMG they both came back with 2 bags full of stuff. I have never seen so many bags of chips and aother candies in my life. We would have been over the moon with joy if we got that much candy when I was a kid.
I made them sort though it in the hopes of getting red of some of it, but the loot they got was mostly good stuff. So my co-workers wo't be getting much candy from me.
Sounds like the site was all dressed up, I am sorry I missed it.
Well I have spent an hour on here and should get to work.
Once again have a great day everyone.

me and my hubby paint. i have a room to finish too. i had to paint 99% of it, but am waiting for him to finish sanding and priming a patch (where the door knob it the wall..)
ya, the site had a huge makeover. some loved it, it blinded others..or just confused the helloutta them we were spooky canuks..well i guess first we were sooky canucks, til boo fixed the typo. some stayed sooky tho, EH RTlady? cause they were afraid of what was lurking in the dark. but we found a way of putting it back to the default. it was only for the one day. i wish he had alternate universes tho for days we're just bored.
aph: i am trying to be on some today, but i donno..hubby left me with a massave amount of work. heartgirl: you know your introuble when the hubby says he put a load in the wash...
so i got one loaf of pumpkin bread done, waitin for machine/pan to cool. i put this one on dark, cause i'm getting complaints it's too moist dark is perfect tho.
i should do a loaf of kekes bread tho, i have boiled dinner in crockpot. they'll want bread..son can't eat it tho, have to make a 2nd supper for him, so far i made coleslaw.. he's allergic to smoked ham, so i'll prolly do weiners and i donno..
i have to take my cpap machine in for my yearly visit. hell i missed the 3 month and 6 month ones.. so supper is gonna be kidna rushed..that's 4:30 just 10 mins away. shouldn't take long. hoping to be home by 5. then 6:15 leave for tkd. so should be able to get supper ready right?
i hate being rushed. but then i'm not the type to lolly around either, (except on computer). of course if you seen my house you would beg to differ..
i did clean out one helluva messy cupbaord today. u know that show with the british chicks? how clean is your house or sumthing? i should be on it. well..90% of it is clutter. but you know those high spots, grime city

It's suppose to be 76 degrees here today!!!!!
I'm not complaining in the least, but this is insane for November. I wouldn't mind it this way year round.

ok so off topic here..question- I went to cook a chicken this weekend, but when I took it out of the freezer was severely freezer burnt..so I tossed it..was telling my mil and she freaked saying she couldnt beleive I had thrown away a completely fine chicken, that nothing was wrong with it and she cooks foods like that all the time. I know she has taken a rancid steak in her words and cut off the bad part and cooked the rest.
I was wondering waht everyone else would have done with the chicken?
Now off to enter more words!!!

It's going to be tough and dry after being freezer burnt and have a icky taste to it. If you chop it into small pieces you can add it to a highly spicy dish and you won't notice the toughness or the freezer burnt taste. There is really nothing wrong with it but I do take into consideration first on how long its been in the freezer over 6 months I don't usually bother with it but then we only stock up on what we can eat in 6 months. It won't hurt you just from the freezer burn though. Whole chickens you can leave up to 12 months but I don't buy whole ones and don't like to keep meat even frozen that long. There may be ways to fix it that deal with the toughness and dryness but I don't know what they are. I've had to deal with this because DH is horrible about getting the air out of the packages, we always buy family packs or 40 pound boxes so has to be repackaged. I try to always be right there and get the air out myself while he washes and separates for the bags and always use freezer bags

Yeah i buy whole chickens from the hutterites, way cheaper then what i pay in grocery store, but I buy quite a few. it would have been on about 6 month mark, I just think it got so bad as our freezer was just about empty as it was wrapped properly and i have never had a problem before. Thanks for the answers u guys!!!
