my EYES..MY EYES!
nononononooooooo not a good image first thing in the am..... is burned into my retinas now..
yes apparently you can buy the poles. there was a show where the younger woman changed places with the sister that had kids.. the younger wom lived in the basement, and had a pole.. course the sister with kids thought she was "wild". i thought she was actually pretty kewl and the sis with kids was a tad jealous cause she was tied down.

Guys, I've a shopping question for you about winter jackets and boots.
1) Heard of Mark's Work Wearhouse? Are their WindRiver jackets any good? And their prices?
Your thoughts on this, pls, http://www2.marks.com/productdetails...3FOpenDocument
Or this one, http://www2.marks.com/productdetails...3FOpenDocument
2) Any recommendation for a particular reasonably priced brand for jackets or boots?
3) Or is there a better time to shop for these stuff, end-season sale, when's that?
I walk my kid to and from school under all kinds of weather, lol.

Either of those are good because they have a removable hood which is nice for finer weather (not so bulky) but I would also suggest checking out Zellers and Walmart - you might find something there that will serve the purpose for a better price (better sales at Zellers/Walmart). I suggest a hiking style boot for walking back and forth to the school - you want to be sure you have a good grip for icy days.

ok so apparently they took her appendix out last night the doc called us at 12:30 last night hate having the internet tie up the phone line wish it was seperate then I could stay on here all day but can't in case the docs call or mom calls
am trying to read through everything really fast cause I can't have internet on too long but they said she should be able to come home tomorrow they obviously don't know my mom very well...maybe if it was day surgery she would be home tomorrow LOL
and I think she is ok when we were there yesterday afternoon she managed to yell at me about the way I packed her overnight stuff and for bringing her whole bottle of thyroid pills and that was when she was still really really sick before they did tests and stuff...so she couldnt have been feeling that bad...
I sooooo wish we had wireless then I could watch the episode that I missed Tuesday night cause of the satellite being out from all the snow grrr the one and only show I love and the satellite chooses to go out a half hour before it came on
anyways have to get internet off be back for a bit this afternoon trying to do a half hour or hour on the computer then a couple hours off in case they call or dad calls or something and then at 4 I have to go saute a green pepper and get the crock pot of chili on...I woke up at 6:30 this morning to the smell of chili...here was dad making chili in a FRYING panidk what he would do without cara and I here I told him put it in the crock pot and I would finish making it at 4 LOL

HELLO HELLO HELLO... I've been unpacking and packing! So far I've got
14 boxes ready for donation pick up next week. 3 boxes of clothing already
left for the women's shelter. Yikes I can't believe how much kitchen stuff I've accumulated over the years.
So happy to see REP button back - trying to make up for lost time but it already
said I need to spread it around???
Have a grrrreat day everyone!'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

NS, Her big thing was that the girl had changed the barbies clothes, she was fine with her playing with them but not with changing the clothes, which I didnt know wasnt allowed. As she had okayed her playing with the barbies before she left for school. Just seems to be very moody lately...what age does all the fun start?...lolLast edited by haunish; Thu, Nov 27th, 2008 at 10:16 AM.
