Well, at least we`re going to have heat by the end of the day. It is only going to cost us $2000, but we`re going to have heat.

The furnace that was in there was one of the top of the line furnaces - would have cost $4500-$5000 installed - the type of furnace you would expect in a huge place (our house is only 900sq ft, so it was totally unnecessary). I guess a fan blew before we moved in, they found out the cost of the new fan motor, and refused to pay that, so they found a way cheaper model and had to re-wire the furnace so that it would actually work with the wrong motor in it.

Turns out that we have been living with a fire hazard in our house for the last four years because when they re-wired it, they by-passed all of the safeties in the furnace.

So, we have made the responsible decision to just replace the entire furnace for peace of mind, our children`s safety, and to have a 5 year warranty. Why not spend all that money that we just don`t have!! What a pain, but we couldn`t leave it the way it was. It would have eventually burned the house down, and then we would have been screwed with the insurance company. Better safe than sorry.

Oh, still no baby. I`m hoping the stress will kick-start labour lol.

So I had a complete meltdown last night. Hubby was out late (he had a meeting and got home after 9pm) and I had the boys which is usually not a problem. Well yesterday during the day while the older one was in school, I had the little guy and managed to do a ton of cooking and prepping stuff for the freezer while the farmers around us have the good stuff I like to get them and freeze em. Also made a ton of homemade pasta sauce, did 3 loads of laundry and cleaned the house as usual. Then drove back to Scarborough to pick up my son from school, came home and they were insane. They drove me nuts, did everything wrong either cuz it was just one of those days or cuz I was exhausted from life and the pregnancy and everything. They did nothing right, I wanted to walk away from it all I swear...I was so tired and fed up and was a mother last night I didnt want to be. The little guy would not sleep, had him upstairs from 7.30 til after 9 when his dad got home. I was ready to lose it I swear. My husband came home and then asked 'did you eat dinner?' I said 'no' and then he is like 'why not? Don't you care about the baby?' not in an annoying way but it wasn't the time or day to say that. I lost it on him, do you have any idea what I do every friggin day time and time again for this house, do you know what your sons did to me tonite...do not start with me. I ended up crying myself to sleep starving but too lazy or tired to fix myself anything...one of those horrible days.
I know my husband appreciates me, but it's nice to hear it sometimes...for all those men out there its nice for you to say sometimes thank you the house looks amazing or great dinner or better yet you look tired lemme do that instead of assuming we can do it all. It's bad enough I have my two kids to clean up after, but half the time the problem lies with the big kid, my husband who knows his maid will follow him around the house and clean up (oh and the maid is me). ARGH...k off my chest I will be fine now I hope

aww, sorry amy, some days it is so hard to be a mom, and so doesnt hellp when kids are not behaving.i had a meltdown last sat. i had worked 8 hr shift and all i had asked my dh to do was cook supper so i didnt have to, i get home and nothing he was like i didnt know what ot cook. I snapped. Was like how har dis it to take something out, blah blah
It would be so much easier if they would some days just say I appreciate what u do, or something. I always make sure to tell my dh how much I appreciate what he does, would it kill a man to say it back..lol

amy, sorry you had a bad night last night. I hope that today is better for you. I know how you feel too. DH has a list (small as it might be) of things that he needs to do for me. I don`t think anything has been crossed off in two months. I stay home, raise our child, keep house, cook daily (though it`s a chore that I hate), and no thanks are given. And yes, most of my cleaning is cleaning up from him - I`m teaching DS how to clean up after himself already lol

So Im debating whether I should go to the hospital or not.

I started getting this dull pain in my left & right side yesterday (kinda like preassure or something). Its where the tech told me to push on my ovaries. But I figure the ach and discomfort was just from her plying around up there. It hasnt gone away yet but i dont know if the discomfort and all that stays this long. When I bend over, lift something or sit down it makes it worse (I cant sit straight on my butt but if I lean over or have poor posture it makes it better). I know if I go to the hospital they will give me an u.s but the dept isnt open again till Monday which is basically when I get the results back.

I might go to bed and see about going when I wake up.
