I think I'll pass on this.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I wasn't in that much pain today. The first time in about a month. I've been doing foot exercises. I stopped wearing slippers. Something is working. Or maybe it's the medication.

    Congrats on the win, PetiteFemme.

Racefan, been there done that ... for 3 flippin years! Anyhow, this sounds silly but it helped a lot, take an empty 2 L. bottle, fill with water, tighten very well. Put it on the floor on its side and roll under you arches like a rolling pin. It will help gentle stretch the tendons/musicles in the foot. It actually feels really good, in the summer I use cool water, and in the winter warmish.
and yea, really need to put those shoes on as soon as the feet hit the floor in the morning ! (I know how you feel, I am a bare foot gal myself, far back as I can remember ... hate shoes) ... and yes the orthotics make a HUGE difference. I don't wear shoes all the time now, but those orthos never come out of the shoes.
BTW I tore mine so bad i both feet, I had to wear special shoes to bed ... Gawd that was horrible! so glad when I got to take those suckers off!

Kekes, you had it on both feet? I can't imagine that. One foot is bad enough. One of the exercises I'm supposed to do is roll a bottle under my foot. I put shoes on as soon as I get out of bed. The pain hasn't been as bad for the past couple of days. I'm so glad.

You guys have been really helpful. Thanks.

Oh no, so sorry to hear about the closet that leaked That would be no fun at all. Sounds like you have a great hubby who doesn't mind helping! Mine is like that too! He'll clean the house on his days off while I'm at work and he cooks probably 95% of our suppers! He loves cooking and of course, I don't mind at all!!!!

Ohh and I also got to pay off my mastercard with my winnings which was an even greater bonus and still have $200 left over! To be nice, I also gave my husband $50

must be the official "get things done" weekend!
we've got roofers fixing a hole in the roof, i sent my dad off to run errands, i emptied the kitty toilets, hosed them down and replaced them both with new litter, and i'm still up to my ears in zucchini... so far i've made twenty loaves (two loaves per batch) and 8 dozen muffins (with chocolate chips!) tomorrow i'll spend the day delivering. And, i made some kool aid for our roofers (gave them a few muffins too) they seemed pretty pleased.

it is boiling in here since the oven has been going all day, but i do feel pretty productive.
