We had a wierd supper last night. When I picked up the kids last night the daycare lady gave me 7 cucumber, and tomatoes, and on of the girls at work gave me some purple potatoes (I bought seed potatoes and had too many so I gave some away, then I didn't plant mine, so....).

So we have cucumbers, tomatoes and purple mashed potatoes for dinner, along with some crackers and cheese. Just to hot to make anything else.

The DD and DS want more mashed potatoes tonight, so I have to figure out what to make with them.

My mom's family's greek so in the summer we have dinners like this quite often. We make the BEST tomato & cucumber salad and its so simple....

sliced tomatos & cucumbers
sliced red onions
oregano
salt (i use alot to balance out the oregano)
virgin olive oil

mix, mix, mix and then top with black olives and feta cheese (if you like)

i just got a letter from the dmv. dh's dr missed filling out one small section of his medical report. if has to be fixed and submitted by oct 10 or his liscense is reduced to class 5.

WTF?? isn't class 5 a normal liscense anyway? did we pay money for a med report for a specialty liscence? arggggghhhhhh.
