NS - my dad is in hospital in Brampton, Ont. so only get to talk with him on phone - wish I could be there but already made one trip up when he was first in hospital but was sedated the whole time I was there - he tells me he knew I was there (could hear us all talking) and actually last night I was there (after his 5th surgery and the one we found out he was going to make it) one of his eyes opened about 1/2 way - I like to think he knew I was leaving to come home and wanted me to know he was OK.

Haunish - send a group email to the out-laws and tell them politely to kiss your azz and that you are doing your own dinner with just your hubby and kids and if they don't like that too fooking bad

Haunish - I can totally understand about the in-laws. My ex's family was so screwed up that every holiday was like a freak show. Seriously, his family had witches warlocks, swingers, cross dressers, and his dad once tried to commit suicide in front of him. God, am I ever glad to be out of that family!

I but those Avon skin softeners and the talcs every Christmas and give them out to all the little old ladies at church. They love them.

to find out how many points you have, just log in and go to word balance. it will say at the top how many total points you have. if you want to know where you rank in the monthly hunt, go to the contest link, at the bottom, start scrolling, your name is there somewhere..i was like on page 6, but thanks to everyone i'm on page 1, or at least i was...

thats what the question was, she wanted to know what the average point total of the forum was so could look it up. how are you today? is everyone ready for dinner? my plans have changed. mom and i were invited out so she doesn't have to cook . there is always christmas. i am going to add some more layers and eat a good portion of my bakeapple cheese cake myself. the rest i will freeze for treats.i will go check the list again. thanks for the info
