We already know P&P reads the messages on the forums related to P&P so hold off on putting your real name on the petition.

contacting their sponsors will hit them hard and I think that is what they need most sponsors will probably drop p&p when they realize how badly they manage the place...

we all know that there are times when the prizes suck and when they do have good ones they are gone in a flash. This will make it even harder for them to get sponsors as well as have companies donate their product so they can get word of mouth about it.
I'm not saying that contacting the sponsors is a bad thing but you have to think of the outcome as well. (I like to play devil's advocate)

oh, and as for being charged S&H, I've ordered over 10 things in the past 2 years and never been charged S&H. Whoever filled out the shipping manifest didn't put down that it was a promo item so it's definitely P&P fault. Never accept the item, refuse it and contact P&P to let them know what happened. this is definitely not an isolated incident but it does happen.

Someone who knows what they're doing can get tons of swag (at no cost). One of my friends got her condo's Xmas party for 100 people all but paid for by approaching various restaurants/grocery stores - instead of costing $1300, it cost them about $50.

An outfit like SK, should be able to get on the distribution list when new items come out (like radio stations, tv stations. newspapers, etc. that give away prizes) and it won't cost them a thing - especially if they can say to the sponsor that we'll promote your item to x number of people, y% of which will likely buy your item (when they don't win). It's marketing 101. And if the sponsor sells even one unit, he's made a ton of profit on the $0.10 he spent to give the item away. So, there should be no fear of lack of prizes available in future, even if their advertizers pull out. That cuts only into SK profits.

Given the nature of their prizes, their marketing person is not terribly connected (or savvy), or they'd have tons more prizes.

Given all that, the threat of contacting their advertizers should be enough to get them in line (hopefully).

Especially when they break their own rules (so much for censoring some nasty commentary on the contest entries) or change them in the midst of a contest.

Andit, have you searched for online pet halloween contests? I think you should enter our kitty in it. Sorry you cat has become our forum kitty. He should be our mascot lol. If you find a contest to enter him in let me know I would go vote for him.
