Sorry to hear about your kitty Bubblekat. Losing a pet is like losing a part of the family. I still get misty eyed over all my lost kitties. The DD still crys sometimes for the first 2 cats she knew. They were 18 and 19 yrs old and were there from the day she was born.(DD is 11 now).

I hope everyone has a good day. I am stuck in a meeting for the whole morning and part of the afternoon. One of those "Lets get everyone together and make them sit here and listine to the boss go on about how great the Branch is and how much work we have done in the last 6 months". I just want to nap, but I would start to snore and that would not be good. We are all on a break now, so I stopped in to visit and vent, enter words and vote.

Thanks for all the new words, I am going to have to get on the puter at home to get caught up!!

Thank you everyone for your kind words about Missy. Hopefully all of you with older cats still have a lot of good years left; my Mom's cats have always lived to be nearly 20 years old. NS, that is so cute that Ryan 's cat does that. No, Justin is not handling it well. I'm sure it is really hard on him-- especially because they were so close and he is the one who found her dead. It is his first experience with death so he doesn't really understand it. All night he kept shaking his sister and waking her up to make sure she was just sleeping and not dead. He was still really upset when he woke up this morning and has been crying all morning asking "but if Missy loves me, how come she died, how come she won't come back if she loves me?" It is just so sad I'm trying to help him deal with it as best I can.

I'm so sorry Bubblekat, Missy will always be in your families heart. Are you having a little ceremony for her? Or maybe make a collage of photos to honour her. There is a place called Pawsway in Toronto, which has a memorial wall where people create art, and post photos of their pets that they have lost. I think its very theraputic, and a great way to remember a pet.

OK all I know I am brain dead today, but you would think I could remember how to change my siggy? No now I have no siggy just code.
