Vampires - haven't read the Twilight books, but was hooked on Tanya Huff & Nancy Baker a few years back. Went to a reading of sci fi authors when I was younger & ended up driving Nancy Baker home, very sweet lady. Tanya Huff's books were turned into a series that I was hooked on last year, Blood Ties. Keep hoping they'd shoot more episodes.


Anyone have experience with hypnosis? A friend of mine has panic attacks & has decided to try it to see if it will help. Went with her to a consultation today - place seemed very professional, price not quite as outrageous as I'd feared. Just hope it works, I hate seeing people stressed.

Have you thought of trying out for Canada's next top model? I did a photo shoot/video shoot for a friend of mine for the last show they did and she got in, but never went to anything for it because she's a strange cat, that one. You should definately try it!

No time to write, Winter is feeling sick again, and I think she has another UTI. You'd think that for a child who is only 4 they would give her the tests she needs right away instead of making her freaking wait for 3 months to get them. SUCH B*LLSH*T.

Well, it was a long day! The kids didn't even get into bed till 9pm, which is super late for them. Monet was asleep on my shoulder before I even got her into her crib.

Someone gave us one of those Melitta pod-style single serve coffee makers today, but I have no idea where to buy coffee pods at. I can't order online, we don't keep credit cards.. Does anyone have a store suggestion? I am dying to try it, I hear it makes awesome tea as well.

NS -- The wait for her tests is just because everyone has to wait. Just like with my gallbladder.. Had one attack, they schedule me for a surgery consult in FIVE months! After the 4th attack a surgeon fit me in very quickly. I am just hoping it doesn't take her getting 3 or 4 more terribly painful UTI's before they do something to get her in quicker.

Andit -- I know tons of people who have had good experience with Hypnosis for certain things. If the person is going to a good hypnotherapist, it can be useful for things like panic attacks, depression, anxiety etc. I typically hear that it doesn't work well for weight loss, stopping smoking, or the like. And if you thought the place she was going looked good, it probably is. You can tell the bunk artists pretty quickly in that profession.

Rose -- You could totally do CNTM. They typically pick more than a few of those "I'm the hottest girl here" type of girls because it makes for good show material. You could easily outshine those kind of girls, and you have really unique looks for something like that. I wouldn't go on the American one for anything, but the Canadian one seems quite good most of the time. Too bad you can't come over here so I can do your video and photos for you

LOLCAT, I think you can buy those pods at William Sonoma. Have you checked the manufacturer's site to see where they distribute the pods and find a store near you?
If you want them, I can order em for you, just send me the link of what you need, I will get em for you
My sister's friend has a pod machine but it is from William Sonoma and they have pods there for sure, just not sure if every pod machine is compatible or not

Haunish, ouch sounds like a painful house over there right now.

So since January I told hubby he needs to clean the basement, most of it is his crap for work and just nonsense. I then said to him you have until the end of February to clean it, when you start your new job March 2 I want a clean basement. He said no problem I will have it done...well he didn't. I told him okay you have until the next garbage day to have it done...that was last weekend in light of what happened with his niece I gave him an extension for this weekend. Last night after the boys went to bed (late too btw) I went to bed at 10.30pm. I left him in the family room he said I have a few things to clean up and I will come to bed...I assume that means basement...nope he said he had to clean up some stuff on one of his laptops...he stayed up til almost 1am and then decided he could sleep in til 11am. This afternoon I said we need to go to Walmart to get some diapers...he says to me well I need to clean the basement...fine...I know he isn't going to do it but I took the two boys and went shopping for 1.5hrs so he could clean. He calls twice while we are gone to check on us...he doesn't want to do it...I come home and he says he did some, but I went down there just now doesn't look like anything was touched...so we shampooed the carpets upstairs earlier cuz we had a diarrea accident yesterday and keep cleaning the one spot til I dont see a stain (I think its me at this point, Im sure its clean Im just grossed out). The boys went to bed late tonight almost 10pm and now my husband slept next to Yacoub putting him to bed and as I sit in the family room I can hear him snoring like a mad man up there.
I feel like going up there and like beating him silly to get the friggin basement cleaned. Now watch tomorrow I will suggest the trip to Costco which we need to do and he will say I have to clean the basement, but when there actually is free time to do it he is sleeping.
He has til tomorrow at midnight to clean it, if not done I will officially take over the basement and clean it to my satisfaction which he will not like at all, I am sure of it cuz it means dumping most of his $hit

I watched the cheesiest horror flick last night called Sleepover Nightmare, was low budget but in the end I watched the whole thing wondering why everyone always runs upstairs in a horror flick..lol

I watched a piece of crap today called Hallettsville. Horrible acting. Ridiculous story line. I might have to look for Sleepover Nightmare.

I want to see The Last House on the Left.
