    my son turns 4 next month and was supposed to start JK this month but i decided to wait. besides being inconvenient for us (the dropping off and picking up) in our area its full day and i just dont think he is ready. his regular babysitter is very very good. she is very structured and takes the educational part of her "job" very seriously and she treats him like he is her own son (she is very loving). i just think he is better off with her than in JK at this time. we plan to reevaluate in the spring but i am leaning towards home schooling so who knows if i will ever send him.
