20/10, i was able to be strict and not indulge myself....as for me it's always the first days that are the harder , being able not to cheat yesterday is a good start and encouragement for me......how about you ? how was your day ?

I find the more I try to be strict, that is when I want to eat, eat, eat. I am gonna try to NOT make anything off limits, as I find when something is off limits to me, that is when I can't live without it. What I need to try to do is limit the snacking time; now that I returned to work (desk job) I find I am often snacking on candy or something from Tim Hortons (which is conveniently located in the same building as my office ). If I can get the snacking under control, maybe I have a chance at getting a pound or 2 off by next weigh in.

I was bad for snacking too. Since I started my weight loss goals, I've changed my habits a lot. Now I usually have a snack in the morning around 10:30, and one in the afternoon around 2-2:30. Both consist of either a yogurt or single serving cottage cheese, and a fruit since I am not a big fan of vegetables. My favorite to have is apple and yogurt for one and cottage cheese and reds grapes for the other.
