First SCOP at Zellers!!!

So last night I asked husband to go to zellers with me because I had seen on here that the crest whitestrips were 19.99$ and I happened to have one of the 10$ coupons.

Figured he couldnt turn down 10$ whitestrips, hes been dying to try them. Me they hurt my teeth cant use them.
So while were there we also grab 2 dove soaps and 2 deoderants since they were such a good price and had 2 coupons. Halloween section was right near cash so I sneak over to take a look ( husband hates halloween, can barely get him to decorate or give out candy ), anyway i found a liquidated section , must be last years stuff, grabed a window sticker sheat thing of bats was 0.90$.

So we head to cash. Give the girl the coupons up front.She reads them all then scans our articles. The strips come up as 47.99$.So im like no there on sale and pull out the flyer(brought it cause I had a felling this would happen). She checks and says yes they are. So i figured she would just adjust the price but im thinking SCOP! I never thought she would do it because after adjusting the price to 9.99$ because of SCOP and taking off the 10$ coupon it would make them FREE!!!
But nope didnt even have to mention the scop or anything she just cancelled the 47.99$ and entered it manually as 9.99$ then took off the 10$ coupon.
I was so happy I was giggling the whole way home lol.

So my bill ended up being:

halloween decoration : 0.90$
2x dove soap : 3.54$-2$ COUPON = 1.54$
2X DOVE DEODERANT : 3.54$-2$ COUPON = 1.54$
Crest whitestrips : 9.99$- 10$ coupon = +0.01$

total with tax came to : 6.29$
( best part is since she entered the strips at 9.99$ makes less tax for me!!!)

There are always scanning issues at my local Zellers, but they don't participate in SCOP. I wish they did.

I purchased something at zellers and the manager did not want to do scop. He said it did not apply to zellers. Is it a law or stores can decide?

DH is so honest though. Right next to the whitestrips there were the oral b vitality toothbrushes on sale also for 19.99$ but the ticket in front said 27.99$. I wanted to go and price scan it to see if it really would scan at 27.99$ , then would of gotten that SCOP 'ed as well lol.. think I had a 5$ off coupon too. Guess he was right though lol we had no intention of buying it so didnt want to take advantage of it lol
