I did this shopping trip is LD North Vancouver.
LONDON DRUGS:
(I couldn't find any flyers in Vancouver so I probably could have gotten better deals if I had).
I have done my shop, and I walk to the till.
I say "Hi, I have coupon stacks today"
Cashier "great can I see the coupons?"
ME: "Sure"
Cashier: "Oh you can't use multiple coupons on the same product"
Me: "Actually London Drugs is the only place in canada that let's you do this, can you call your superviser to check?"
Cashier: "Okay"
Superviser: "How can I help you today?"
Cashier: "you can't use multiple coupons on the same product right?"
Superviser: "you can! (now explaining everything)"
Cashier: "ummm okaY thank you"(superviser walks away)"So you actually can't use this $0.50 coupon today because it means you would get cashback.. "(1 penny :D) (hands me the coupon back.)
Me: "You can, you just change the last coupon to $0.49.. Can you call your superviser again?"
Cashier : calling superviser.
Superviser: "whats up?"
Cashier: asking about the coupon..
Superviser: explaining.
Superviser: looks at me and gives me the thumbs up! "Your an excellent shopper" (woww thats unexpected!) "I especially like the way you have underlined in red pen "valid only in canada" and the expiry dates!"
Me: I'm in shock so all I can say is "Thanks!"

!!
Now we continue with the purchases.
x1 Crest Pro-health toothpaste- $2.49 - $2.50 = FREE!
x1 Febreze noticeable starter kit-$6.99 - $6.99 = FREE!
x1 Tampax pearl tampons 36 count with bonus pantiliners-$8.49-$8.00= $0.49!
x1 Pantene conditioner- $5.99 - $0.75= $5.24
x1 Pantene Shampoo- $5.99 - $5.00 = $0.99
x1 Degree deodorant - $1.99 - $1.00 = $0.99
x1 Scope mouthwash- $5.49 - $3.00 = $2.49
total $14.08 (tax was $3.89)
Total coupons used: $27.24.
WALMART (Vernon BC)
x5 Rice Krispies- $2.77 each = $13.85 - $5.00 = $8.85 ($1.77 each after coupons)
x1 Kashi Fruit bars- $3.77-$2.00= $1.77
ToTal $10.62 + tax (I bought a bunch of other stuff like milk n eggs etc; so I don't know the total tax paid for these 6 things... well actually I just don't feel like doing the math :D)
Again I got excellent CS! The cashier just ran them thru and didn't seem to suffer from couponers discrimination, In fact she was talking to me the entire time! "Hows your day been" etc; !!!
Thrift store in North Vancouver:
x1 pair of dawn jackson figure skates (I retired myself from figure skating so these are just for fun). $6.99!!!! The boots don't look very pretty but their not trashed, they are just scratched! Nothing I can't fix with a lil shoe paint!
x1 pair of water shoes (I saw them somewhere for $85!) $3.99 (they are barely used!)
Total $11 + tax!
Not very friendly workers but good enough!
...
Does anyone know when the next P&G brandsaver flyer is coming out? This thread is currently associated with: London Drugs, Walmart

Great deals and awesome customer service you got!! Wish all cashiers could be so nice. Wal-marts here are so picky.

Well the lady was totally cool with it! The cashier didn't know that stacking was allowed though... I wonder if maybe people think its not allowed because of cashiers making up there own rules and making shopping sometimes horrible...
Yes it was in northvan :D
The one closest to Lonsdale Quay...

that's great to hear, considering that store has given me nothing but grief. i'll have to venture there again one of these days to test it out. it's been a while since i've attempted to stack at this location, considering they would always flat out reject my attempts.

I did not have any luck at this location! Same old story... "if the coupon says one per purchase we can not take more than one coupon!"
You lucked out! I don't know what it is with this store, but I really wasn't in the mood. Told them that they are the only location that have issues with taking multiple coupons and I'll take my business to your West Van location and walked out -- it felt really good to leave all my stuff on the counter -- tee hee hee!
