if you really want the carpets done i would suggest getting 3 quotes and then showing hubby that you have chosen the least expensive one bc you want to spend as little as possible but it's necessary since soon Ethan will be crawling up the stairs and his face will touch the dirt, etc

I guess I will have to get the quotes done... But what pisses me off is... because I am the one wanting to do up the house, and he doesn't... I end up having to do most of the work... And I freaking hate that...

crack habit- you guys are having me laugh so much-last night i was at my work dance and my hubby told a coworker i have a store in my basement - i just laughed- at least he didnt complain

As long as there is food in the house my dh doesn't complain...I find it also helps to let him see me use a really decent coupon occassionally(eg Gillette $5 wub3). He loves to tell people about the deals we've had with that one!
