Not to mention how nasty it is for his teeth! FOr now it's not "too" bad because he'll lose those but if it's a habit that stays, it'll be horrible for when his adult teeth grow in.

No, they can't. From Oct 1st to Apr 1st it's illegal for them to leave you without electricity. That's been in effect for over 5 years. Aftr they cut some old lady's electricity and she died they've been prevented BY LAW to do so during the cold months.

That maybe Quebec but just last year there was a whole apparment building that had hydro turned off due to the landlord they had to find emergency shelter for them due to it not being their fault

I FREAK and say "NO!" sternly enough to stop him dead in his tracks and I put my knuckle in his mouth and say STOP which stops him for a bit but he starts up again. I'm hoping the consistency of it allows him to 'click' and get it.

Mercy, Ontario doesn't have that law for hydro, there have been people calling for it with the recent increase in hydro rates

No it's a Federal law. That building may have had other issues with it, not for the bill being unpaid.

ANother thing is they aren't legally allowed to cut a whole building's hydro off either.

My daughter is 13 and still does it in her sleep when she is stress but I suppose that info dosn't help
