I don't want them to fall off a bridge I just think it would be great if they stopped scamming.

If it's a case that they are waiting for payment from sponsors before they can purchase the prizes they should have just said that.

I wouldn't go as far as saying they ruined anyone's Christmas. Nobody is asking you to sit around waiting, you're doing it because you ultimately want something for free. If you're willing to sit at a computer on worldwide holiday anticipating POSSIBLY getting a prize, you didn't have a hell of a lot going on that day anyway.

I just want them to stop scamming people and give people their prizes. The members have held up their end, logging in every day and answering the questions, they then sell the info to market research firms etc. They are making craploads of dough off this I'm sure.

Agreed, they said "keep checking back for some 'holiday' surprises". All they did was put up the damned prize tree or whatever it was.

Exactly, that was a trick. They could have said (just a note to let you know... it won't be on Christmas or Christmas Eve. Enjoy your holidays). That would have been a lot kinder. People wouldn't be worried about them pulling a fast one. I think there is going to be a lot of fall out from this... and the smart a$$es who are making comments like *it's your fault you waited around on your holidays* will be crying the blues soon because THEY didn't get what they wanted.

In Dark_angel's defense, she did say that she understands that it was our choice to sit and refresh and wait for a redemption, but that maybe they shouldn't make it on holidays, which is fair to say. Christmas is kinda a big deal for most people and I can imagine a lot of kids were glued to the computer screen for a large portion of it, waiting for lockerz to update. I read one person on facebook said that he was checking lockerz on his phone during a funeral.

Wait, so I'm planning on getting the Ipod Touch, according to UPS' I would have to pay $41. If noone answers the door, will the maildude just stick it in the mail slot? And what if I can't pay the money lol?

Honestly, I really don't buy that's the problem. It was understandable at first, servers do crash, computers get bugs, etc.

But this has been constant for their site, they've just used that excuse too many times to be plausible any more.

You have to pay the duty charge, UPS won't leave it on your doorstep or mailbox or whatever if there is a charge on it, they will leave you a note and you will have to pick it up.
