Where to buy new microwave?

Hi,

Our microwave suddenly stopped working right after I made popcorn. There was no power to it right after (I checked the socket with another appliance and it was fine)

We need a big microwave ... 1.2 cu. or bigger.

Where is the best place to buy one?

Parents and I are looking for a good well known name. The current one we have is a Panasonic and my parents says it is 22 years old, so some well known microwave is needed.

unfortunately, you can't find the same today....i know that, i had a Genius for years and had to replace it...but the new Genius is way cheaper built than the first one....i sooooooo miss my old Genius

My Mum and Dad bought a microwave at Canadian Tire a couple of years ago after 26 year old microwave died.It's name brand microwave not sure of size or brand right now.My Mum did say it's noisier than the other one but they are satisfied with it.

Ha, that's how our nuker died too - drat that popcorn!

However, maybe before you get a new one, check whether or not it's the fuse in the microwave which blew - that's what happened to ours, my husband checked, and just replaced the fuse.
