Desitin or Penatin?

So I totally smelled the Desitin today just because I saw people post about smell. lol. I still dont really smell anything. lol. Maybe my sense of smell is broken from months of diaper changing. lol

As far as all the creams having the same ingredients, they really do not.

Penaten has about 18% Zinc Oxide
Desitin has 37% Zinc Oxide
Sudocream has something like 15% Zinc Oxide

Best thing is to try a few and see what works best for you. And like I said before ask your doctor because they sometimes have some samples on hand.

I use Penaten at the first sign of any redness and it clears up within hours. My DD is 6 months old and has never had a diapers rash, but like i said I always apply pentaten at the first sign of anything

I've always used Teddy's Choice zinc cream. They also have an extra strength one with a lot of zinc oxide, about as much as the other bum creams with the most zinc oxide. It also wipes off nicely... I've heard that the others are a bit pastey and difficult to wipe off the tiny bums.
