I have a question with regards to winning a contest. A while back I was sent a package saying I won the peak freans contest taste of mischief. I was really excited but a little sceptical since I am new to this. This all happened November 30th. I immediately returned the package. I have tried to contact the company that handled the draw and have not received a call back. My question to everyone out there is what I should do? It's been 6 weeks and I am still waiting. I did leave a message asking for someone to contact me since I work in a hospital and needed to know when we may be traveling if we won. Any suggestions? I am starting to wonder if I did anything wrong. I double checked everything before sending it. Is this normal practice for them to take so long and no return calls.. thank you

I was really excited but a little sceptical since I am new to this. This all happened November 30th. I immediately returned the package. I have tried to contact the company that handled the draw and have not received a call back. My question to everyone out there is what I should do? It's been 6 weeks and I am still waiting. I did leave a message asking for someone to contact me since I work in a hospital and needed to know when we may be traveling if we won. Any suggestions? I am starting to wonder if I did anything wrong. I double checked everything before sending it. Is this normal practice for them to take so long and no return calls.. thank you

They notified you by mail? I would keep trying to contact the company, by email, phone, mail. I have never won a trip but I would think if you sent the docs back by late November/early December they would have contacted you again by now. Also, if the contest was handled by a company, I would copy correspondence to Peek Freans. Good luck to you and keep us posted.

I forgot to add this: Any time I have won anything, and sent the forms back, I always add a note to let me know they received it. If they don't reply, I email/phone them again. I won a $150 from ecco shoes (Hain contest) in July but did not receive anything. I emailed a few times and finally in October, someone copied and pasted the many messages they had tried to send me with the coupon number. I do not have any idea why my email server would not let the message through seeing as though messages that promise to enlarge body parts that I do not have (or plan on getting!) seem to get through.
Last Friday, my son was notified via twitter that he won one of the "regifting" Visa cards worth $150. He sent the forms back on Monday and asked that they acknowledge receipt. They did not respond so he emailed them again and they acknowledged that they had received it.
His Visa arrived today, seven days from the day he was notified of the win. Way to go, Canada Post!

For a big win like the Peek Freans I would keep phoning until I found someone that knew what they were talking about.

As I recall, that was a choice of destination trip prize-I think if you have any contact info email/send a registered letter to that person and keep records of it. Call Peek Frean (or find a company directory on line)as was suggested in one of the above posts and find out who handles promos and conact them immediately. Copy that person on what ever you send to the company who handled the draw-good luck

I am also having a frustrating situation with Elle. I won the august win it all and was told that my prize would be here in 4 to 6 weeks, yet nothing came....so I gave them a few more weeks and then sent several emails to the woman who had originally contacted me. Still no response. So I went to Elle's website to the contact us section and sent a complaint. I received a call informing me that my prize would be here by the end of december and that they were just waiting on Revelon who claimed to be picking out the colours for the cosmetics they were sending. Anyways now it is well into January and I have had to contact them again. Hopefully my prize will be here soon because it was a really good one and I was really excited for it!
