If I am going to use the coupons , is it the same as when I purchase items during 20x points. I always ask for the total including coupons before taxes. Do I do the same thing for redemption

Yes, ask what your total is before they press the redemption button.

I am 3100 points shy of two redemptions, so I am plotting what I can buy for the bonus points but not do another 75.00 shop this week. I have no room left.
Here is my current plan:
2 Nintendo DSI lite=300.00
Super Mario & Donkey Kong=100.00
the rest will go to groceries & a decadent magazine for me.
of course I need a plan B as I fear they will not have this is stock.

I am fairly new to this point thing. I am at 29100 points. If I buy stuff Sat morning will those points count so that on a seperate transaction I can use my $60? I was thinking of buying the 2 chocolate bars(for the stockings)for 1000 points. Any thoughts???Thanks Sue

You could also buy a $100 GC before hand to use on future purchases. That will give you 1000 points.

heh.. sadly im not getting anything.. unfortunately.. i went today and had enough to buy the $75 .. to get the points. then the cashier told me i had to be at $75 AFTER my coupons. so i put everything back. guess ill have to keep saving and wait.

All SDM cashiers tell me this.. I always tell them, it's ok, I'll use the coupons anyway.. what I really want to say to them is, no you're wrong, it's before coupons not after..

You should've just went through with the transaction. You would've got the bonus points.
