Of course this freaking happen to me! ARGH!

2 very very veeeeeeeery yummy cops showed up at my front door... .................And there's me... shoeless.. wearing my cleaning clothes [y'know that shirt that stained with bleach... riddled with holes.... pants stained with cleaner..].. red faced... frizzy hair, sweaty... >.< [I was doing a huge cleanup.. vaccumming, washing dishes, moving furnature around]. Oh my....I wanted to freaking DIE!

Why were they there? Well... I live on a tree farm [aka nursery].. my dad's bosses office is about 20 feet away... and he has an alarm... which goes off if the temperature changes inside the office or someone breaks in.... or if he didn't remember to let out the stray cat before locking his office... lol

Well it's FREEZING cold.. very windy.. snowy.. whiteouts every 10-20 minutes lasting 10 minutes... so ya.. the alarm was triggered somehow and I didn't hear it.. [was watching Saw 6 with the volume at 60; this was almost 3 hours ago]. I paused the movie to go pee and hear the alarm.. called my dad and he said not to worry and the alarm had shut off by itself during our convo..

So after the movie I went to clean... 3 hours later the dogs started barking.. I thought it was my dad.. nope.. cops.. lovely.

Well my dad's boss changed his cellphone 3 months back and I guess never told the alarm company the new number [they'll call him incase the alarm goes off].. They use to call us years ago but stopped.

So I'm out in the mudroom [the temp in there matches the outside.. plus I had the door open to talk to the cops].. no socks on.. freezing.. trying to answer the questions looking like a slob.. omigod.. i'm so embarrassed.

My dad JUST pulled into the driveway as the cops were going to their vehicles [one unmarked cruiser and an O.P.P. SUV]. So he ran inside and got the office keys to show the cops around the offic to inspect it. [I guess to see if I was lying lol..I basically told them my name and date of birth like they asked.. and that the alarm is sensative.. and that I called my dad to tell him abotu the alarm].

I got mad at dad for not calling his boss abotu the alarm [turns out he doesn't have the new number].. He asked why I was so upset.. and I flew off the handle. "Hot cops show up and I look like a hobo!" lmao

At about looking like a HOBO,

isnt that the way things HAVE to be to have hot guys show up at the door? Including delivery guys. Like can't they call ahead of time in the morning so I can maybe run a comb through my hair and perhaps put on a bra before they come.
